Howdy! There are 2 new sheriffs in town. This year we had the pleasure of making Owen & Julian's 2nd birthday cake and this years theme "Cowboys".
The boy's mom gave us a few ideas on what she wanted the cake to be. She supplied us with the flags for the top of the cake. This is what we came up with. The cakes are vanilla cakes with vanilla mousse filling though we coloured up the dough for a little fun using the same colours we used on the outside of the cake.
The gold stars and the belt buckle are made from gum paste, all other details are made from fondant.
Mom and Dad were thrilled with the cake when I dropped it off before the party and we received great reviews from guests at the party and we were told the boys loved their cake.
