Christening Cake

This next and last cake for this weekend was for Mel's husband's cousin. Her son Christian was being Christened today and then they were having a little celebration in his honour.

This 12x12 cake is vanilla with vanilla mousse and fresh strawberries.  Christian's mom requested the quilted effect for the cake, with added blue sugar pearls.

 

 

The baby, cross and bow are all made from gum paste.
