This cake was requested for a bridal shower over this past Easter weekend. I believe the Mother of the Bride was given my name by a friend. The bride didn't actually want a cake but Mum thought what's a celebration without cake. She contacted me and asked for a simple slab in white and told me the bride liked daisies. She did request that the daisies be coral in colour.
She requested that the saying be "Showers of Happiness" done in black on the top of the cake, so we decided that a little scroll work in black around the cake would be fun. This was done in fondant and black royal icing. A few black sugar pearls were also added.
