Gave the jersey cookies #10 as it was Riciardo's 10th birthday being celebrated. The cookies are our delicious sugar cookies with fondant details.
Next up for that week end was a cake for a baby shower and knowing that the new baby was a girl the colours are pink which are the mommy to be's favourite colour........
A cute pregnant belly cake all dress in pink with darker pink and white details. Baby's little foot protruding gives the caption "Ready to Pop" some life. I'm sure the little bundle made her appearance shortly after the baby shower. Perhaps we will get to meet her some day soon.
The next cake for that weekend was a 1st birthday cake for Joey. We had done his Christening cake a few short months before and Mom gave me a call to make his cake for this special occasion and we were thrilled to do it.
This cute Sesame Street cake has Joey's favourite character Elmo featured. Elmo's fur is done in butter cream. Nose, eyes and mouth are done in fondant along with the bright and colourful #'s and alphabet and the Sesame Street sign sporting Joey's name and age.
